Hermès Singapore is hiring a Store Cashier in Singapore to manage POS transactions, cash reconciliation and customer service in a luxury boutique.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Operate the point-of-sale and process payment transactions (cash, credit card and other accepted methods) with accuracy and strict compliance.
  • Manage returns, exchanges, refunds and GST tax refund procedures in accordance with company policy and local regulations.
  • Reconcile daily transactions and cash floats, verify amounts at shift start and end, and ensure adequate cash flow for counters.
  • Accurately input transaction and client information into the store system and produce invoices.
  • Prepare and contribute to the daily cashier report and support financial controls.
  • Perform store support duties including gift wrapping and other ad hoc operational tasks.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Associates and promote teamwork within the boutique environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years' cashiering experience in luxury retail and/or a high-end retail environment.
  • Proven knowledge of operating cash registers and point-of-sale terminals.
  • Strong numerical aptitude, meticulous attention to detail and uncompromising integrity in payment handling.
  • Demonstrable compliance orientation and credibility in cash-control procedures.
  • Well-groomed professional appearance with excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.
  • Good command of English.
  • Proficient PC skills including MS Excel, MS Word and typing.

Experience
