Role & Responsibilities
- Manage all sales transactions on cash tills and point-of-sale systems with high accuracy and efficiency
- Execute opening and closing procedures for cash tills and ensure proper cash reconciliation
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a pleasant shopping environment consistent with brand standards
- Attend to customers during final purchase stages and provide assistance with payment processing
- Process and file all documentation relating to cashier responsibilities and payment records
- Adhere strictly to internal control procedures and cash handling protocols
- Communicate sales discrepancies, cash control issues, and operational concerns to the line manager
- Participate actively in store meetings and contribute to achievement of store sales targets
- Support store operations including VAT refunds, gift wrapping, merchandise handling, and ad hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of relevant retail or fast-paced environment experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with point-of-sale systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Knowledge of CEGID retail software preferred

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a retail environment or similar fast-paced setting, with demonstrated proficiency in cash handling, transaction processing, and customer-facing operations.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail or customer service certifications are advantageous.
