Role & Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain clean, efficient stockrooms that meet Hermès visual and operational standards.
- Receive daily deliveries, process incoming stock and place merchandise in the appropriate stockrooms following established standards.
- Retrieve merchandise quickly for clients and sales associates, including additional sizes, colours and product options.
- Facilitate transfers and move product between floors as required to support client requests and sales activity.
- Re-ticket returned merchandise in coordination with the in-store client (IC) team and return items promptly to the sales floor or stock.
- Participate in store inventory operations including cycle counts and manual counts; complete tasks related to inventory accuracy and transfers.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams across multiple product categories and floors to optimise stock flow and space utilisation.
- Support shipping & receiving activities and perform other operational duties as assigned to meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year retail, stockroom, or inventory experience.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced luxury environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; gracious, warm manner with clients and colleagues.
- Flexibility to work a variable schedule according to business needs, including peak seasons.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and to safely handle merchandise movement.
Skills
Experience
Minimum one year of experience in retail stockroom, inventory control, receiving or a closely related operational role within a store environment; experience in luxury retail is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
