Hermès – Stock Runner (temporary) in Cannes: 3-month summer contract to support store logistics, replenishment and inventory operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute store replenishment before opening and as required during trading hours to ensure continuous presentation of merchandise.
  • Perform end-to-end logistical operations: goods reception, storage, picking, barcode/tag labelling and movement of stock within the store management system.
  • Monitor and report stock discrepancies and participate in corrective actions to preserve inventory integrity.
  • Receive and restock returned samples or items presented to clients that were not sold.
  • Act as a logistical partner to the sales teams—prioritise tasks to support client-facing activity and rapid service.
  • Maintain and optimise storage areas: implement 5S principles, propose organisation improvements and follow through on local projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in retail logistics, stockroom or warehouse operations—experience in luxury retail preferred.
  • Physical capability for regular lifting, manual handling and frequent movement around the store.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong listening ability, reactivity and a pronounced service orientation.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and willingness to support sales colleagues.
  • Proficient with retail stock management tools (Cegid) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Available for a fixed summer contract (three months: June, July, August) and able to adhere to the store uniform standards (black trousers, black polo or sweater, clean comfortable shoes).

Experience
