Hermès seeks a Stock Operations Coordinator at its Geneva flagship boutique to manage inventory, logistics, and order fulfillment with precision and excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming deliveries with rigour, verifying quantities, product quality, and documentation accuracy
- Register entries precisely and proactively report any anomalies or discrepancies
- Oversee continuous replenishment to ensure product availability and optimal reserve organisation
- Manage stock rotation and destocking operations whilst optimizing space utilization
- Maintain data integrity within the inventory management system through regular updates and corrections
- Prepare orders with care and precision, including accurate picking, careful packing, sample inclusion, and compliant labelling
- Meet order timelines and ensure flawless experiences for both internal and external clients
- Coordinate outbound shipments with precision, prepare necessary documentation, and liaise with carriers to ensure compliance and fluidity
- Collaborate actively with back-office teams to resolve stock or flow anomalies in a constructive, collective manner
- Maintain regular communication with customer service and other departments to ensure optimal coordination and harmonious handling of returns
- Participate actively in rotating and annual inventory counts, ensuring methodical and reliable execution
- Analyze inventory variances and propose structured corrective actions
- Manage customer and supplier returns with care and transparency, ensuring precise verification, complete traceability, and full operational compliance
Qualifications
- Stock management or logistics experience, preferably in a retail or warehouse environment
- Proficiency with computer tools including Excel and inventory management systems; Cegid experience preferred
- Acute sense of quality, precision, and compliance
- Agility, intellectual curiosity, and ability to quickly grasp new processes
- Excellent organizational skills, priority management, and autonomous work capability
- Capacity to anticipate challenges, maintain efficiency during peak activity periods, and thrive in dynamic environments
- Fluent French and solid English skills, both oral and written
