Hermès Distribution France seeks a Stock Operations Associate for the Sèvres flagship store, the second-highest revenue location in France and one of the world's largest by volume. This fixed-term contract (16 November 2026 – 17 January 2027) involves managing merchandise flow, inventory logistics, and warehouse operations across all product categories, from leather goods and fashion to beauty, horology, and jewellery.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute merchandise restocking before store opening and during trading hours
- Manage complete logistics operations including receiving, shelving, picking, inventory transfers, and labeling
- Monitor and reconcile stock discrepancies across all departments
- Retrieve and restock returned display items not sold to customers
- Maintain versatility across all logistics operations and product categories
- Serve as a logistics partner to the sales team
- Ensure optimal organization and upkeep of storage areas and propose efficiency improvements
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives using the 5S methodology
- Take ownership of ongoing projects and serve as a driving force for operational excellence
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of relevant logistics or retail operations experience
- Proficiency with computer systems, specifically Cegid and Excel
- Physical capability to lift and transport merchandise regularly
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong listening ability
