Hermès seeks a Stock Manager in Allenjoie, France. Lead inventory, procurement, and production planning for the École des Savoir-Faire's leather and metalwork operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities and coordinate supply orders to maintain optimal stock levels of leather and metal components
- Execute and monitor inbound and outbound stock transactions, dispute resolution, and periodic inventory audits
- Oversee small consumables and tooling inventory, including re-order management, workshop distribution, budget tracking, and invoicing
- Initiate cutting and fabrication work orders whilst ensuring physical preparation of leather and metallic materials
- Receive and allocate production requirements to the Repair workshop
- Coordinate and analyze annual inventory cycles, managing findings and variance analysis
- Process shipment receipts (driver coordination, cargo unloading, package verification, and internal distribution)
- Manage outbound shipment activities including packing, pickup requests, and cargo loading
- Serve as safety custodian for the logistics zone, ensuring workplace safety compliance and standards
- Participate in cross-functional projects spanning Supply Chain, Heritage Craftsmanship, technical, and HSE initiatives across the site and cluster
- Launch and pilot work-in-progress across cutting and fabrication whilst maintaining throughput-time targets
- Analyze production schedule feasibility risks and coordinate capacity planning with cutting and finishing workshops
- Monitor daily work-in-progress advancement and shipment status to ensure adherence to the production schedule
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar logistics or warehouse management role
- Demonstrated success in supply chain coordination and production planning functions
- Rigour and meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work with complete autonomy and ownership
- Strong team orientation and customer-service mindset given frequent cross-functional interactions between logistics and production
- Versatility with excellent organizational and prioritization capabilities
- Analytical and problem-solving aptitude
- Care and precision in handling luxury raw materials including leather and metallic components
- Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Current and valid CACES 3 certification (counterbalance forklift operation)
- Physical fitness validated by occupational health services, given the role's frequent material handling and load carrying requirements

Experience
Minimum 3 years of substantive experience in a logistics or warehouse management role, with demonstrated competence in both procurement and production planning functions.
Education
No specific education level formally stipulated; however, practical experience and technical certifications (CACES 3) are essential prerequisites.
