Hermès Sèvres: Stock, Flow & Supply Manager to lead 9-person logistics team at flagship Paris boutique. CDI role reporting to Store Director.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee all stock operations and merchandise flows, ensuring strict alignment between system records and physical inventory
- Manage picking operations and coordinate inter-store merchandise transfers and emergency stock requests
- Lead monthly rotating inventory cycles by mobilizing sales teams, and actively participate in annual stock audits
- Monitor stock quality and levels continuously; plan store replenishment in coordination with department heads
- Drive continuous improvement by optimizing storage systems, developing new organizational methods, and proposing enhancements to logistics infrastructure in collaboration with transport teams
- Establish and monitor service quality indicators and operational excellence standards; ensure 5S principles are upheld across logistics and sales areas
- Lead and develop a 9-person team: define individual and collective objectives, evaluate performance, identify training needs, build development plans, and foster cooperation
- Conduct daily team briefings, communicate priorities and objectives, and promote cross-functional alignment with sales
- Present weekly logistics activity reports and performance metrics to store management; provide stock call volume recommendations based on sales forecasts and inventory levels
- Actively participate in store management briefings and strengthen integration between logistics and sales teams
Qualifications
- Degree in logistics, supply chain management, or equivalent higher education
- Confirmed experience managing inventory and flows in retail or warehouse logistics environments
- Proven team management experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to establish processes and operational management systems
Skills
Experience
Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with substantial background in stock management and logistics operations within retail or warehouse environments
Education
Higher education qualification, ideally in logistics or supply chain management
