Hermès seeks a Stock Executive in Taipei to manage inventory operations, stock accuracy, and daily replenishment in a luxury retail environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage all incoming and outbound product flows (receiving, transfers, shipments, returns) with perfect synchronization between physical and system inventory
  • Monitor daily replenishment of storage areas on the sales floor, including products and packaging
  • Process and close expired reservations daily, reintegrating them into available stock
  • Track and correct negative stock situations in collaboration with the reporting manager
  • Manage defective and shopsoiled products according to store protocols
  • Prepare, execute, and support stock takes and cycle counts
  • Scan inventory, investigate discrepancies, and contribute to final Finance department reports
  • Propose and implement corrective actions to improve stock accuracy and reduce shrinkage
  • Develop and maintain optimized storage organization practices across back and front office areas
  • Collaborate with sales and visual merchandising teams to refine storage practices and equipment
  • Ensure consistent implementation of stock procedures, 5S controls, and KPIs across all team members
  • Train and mentor team members on stock-related processes and tools
  • Coordinate with reporting manager, sales teams, and corporate stakeholders (Customer Service, Logistics, Internal Control, Retail Merchandising)
  • Contribute actively to team meetings and morning briefs, reporting on operational issues and proposing corrective actions
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators including stock accuracy, shrinkage rates, negative stock levels, and stockroom organization quality

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in stock operations, inventory management, or retail operations
  • Proven expertise in stock control, inventory accuracy, and warehouse management
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and stock procedures
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to implement process improvements and adapt to changing operational requirements
