Hermès Greece seeks a Temporary Stock Controller in Athens to manage boutique inventory, replenishment and stock accuracy.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Process and reconcile all incoming and outbound product flows, ensuring alignment between physical movements and the inventory management system.
  • Organise and maintain stockrooms and salesfloor backstock for tidiness and operational efficiency to optimise replenishment cycles.
  • Execute daily replenishment of salesfloor stock and manage expired or closed reservations to reintegrate merchandise into available inventory.
  • Coordinate local and international transfer requests between boutiques and track inter‑store movements until resolution.
  • Perform daily controls including negative stock investigations, stocktakes and cycle counts to guarantee continuous inventory accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with boutique teams and other departments to support omnichannel fulfilment and to understand assortment implications on operations.
  • Develop and master all stock‑related processes and digital tools used by the store.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with an analytical or quantitative focus.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in stock control or a comparable operational role, ideally within retail.
  • Fluency in Greek and English; additional languages considered an advantage.
  • Professional demeanour with strong interpersonal skills, teamwork orientation and the ability to work autonomously in a high‑pace environment.
  • Availability, flexibility and a pronounced aesthetic sensibility aligned with a people‑centric retail project.

Experience

Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience in stock management or inventory control, preferably within a retail boutique environment.

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred (analytical focus advantageous).
