Hermès is seeking a Stock Assistant in Macau for a temporary, six-month contract. The role supports stockroom security and organization, inventory control, stock movements and sales-floor operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Store all stock securely, in good condition and so it is easily accessible to staff.
- Ensure product price tags are correct.
- Maintain accurate knowledge of store stock and keep the stockroom tidy.
- Implement storage rules, stock procedures and best practices, including 5S controls, KPI follow-up and KPI board updates; suggest improvements.
- Conduct cycle counts and stocktakes, resolve discrepancies and report stock-related abnormalities.
- Handle stock movements and enter related information into the system.
- Replenish sales-floor storage areas and check stock reservations daily.
- Assist on the sales floor when needed, including running stock, packaging, checking availability and answering enquiries from other stores by phone.
- Deliver products to shops and customers when required.
- Perform other assigned tasks.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in inventory management or operations in luxury retail or a similar capacity.
- Energetic, passionate and positive attitude at work.
- Pleasant, honest, hardworking, flexible, service-minded and well-organized.
- Good computer skills, including Excel.
- Good command of Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
