Hermès is seeking a Special Events Intern for its Generation H program, a five-month in-person internship at the US corporate headquarters in New York City, scheduled January 11 to June 28, 2027. The internship pays $20 per hour and may be full-time (37.5 hours weekly) or part-time (more than 15 and fewer than 35 hours weekly) to accommodate academic schedules; the program also includes speaker sessions, mentoring, networking and a capstone project.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain Special Events collateral and materials.
  • Research event venues, caterers, and potential vendors.
  • Assist with event logistics and planning, and review budgets.
  • Contribute to global event recaps after events are finalized.
  • Work with team members to maintain off-site and internal Special Events inventory.
  • Collaborate with the Communications Department before events and work on-site during local New York events.

Qualifications

  • Be enrolled in an associate, bachelor's, or master's degree program.
  • Be proactive and self-starting, with the ability to take initiative and work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Have creative problem-solving ability and strong communication skills.
  • Have strong organizational and critical-thinking skills.
  • Luxury brand experience is an advantage.
  • Expertise in Excel and PowerPoint is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Fashion GPS is preferred.
  • Be available to work during the full five-month program, scheduled from January 11, 2027, to June 28, 2027.
