Hermès Sellier in Pantin seeks a Soft Materials Quality Project Intern for a 6‑month full‑time internship starting Sept 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyse and resolve leather quality issues in tanneries and leather‑goods production, including root‑cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Design, implement and consolidate performance‑management tools and dashboards for the Soft Materials Quality function.
- Support evolutions of material specifications (cahiers des charges) and ensure their operational deployment with factories and suppliers.
- Continue the implementation of the technical leather flow and monitor its integration in series production.
- Propose and deploy improvement solutions for technical components and related processes.
- Contribute to the analysis and handling of non‑conformities alongside Soft Materials Quality managers.
- Participate in the development, tracking and reporting of material improvement plans with external partners.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bac+5 (Master's level) programme in materials science, leather technology, industrial or quality engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical rigour, curiosity and attention to detail; comfortable with practical, field‑based problem solving.
- Good interpersonal and pedagogical skills; able to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Proven organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple technical actions and stakeholders.
- Availability for a full‑time, 6‑month conventionné internship starting September 2026 (based in Pantin).

Open to students and early‑career candidates; previous internship experience in materials, quality or production environments is a plus but not required (beginners accepted).
Education
Master's degree in progress (Bac+5) in materials science, leather technology, industrial engineering, quality engineering or related field.
