Hermès seeks a Site HR Manager at its Riom leather goods production facility. Lead HR strategy, workforce planning, and employee relations in a full-time permanent role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and deploy HR policies and processes tailored to the site's operational context
  • Analyze HR data (health, safety, headcount) to develop actionable plans and monitor key site indicators
  • Manage workforce planning and anticipate staffing impacts on production schedules
  • Lead recruitment efforts, coordinating both internal promotions and external hiring
  • Organize structured onboarding programmes for new employees
  • Co-chair site health and safety committees and participate in CSSCT meetings
  • Champion the 'Everyone Present' process: support continued employment, anticipate returns from leave (maternity, long-term absence), and facilitate reintegration
  • Provide individualized guidance to managers on complex health-related workplace situations
  • Deploy and analyze employee satisfaction and workplace wellbeing surveys
  • Serve as the primary contact for managers on employment law, social concerns, conflict resolution, and HR irritants
  • Monitor site social climate through regular on-site engagement with teams and personnel representatives
  • Foster constructive dialogue with works council representatives (CSE)
  • Directly manage one HR Assistant and oversee their professional development
  • Facilitate key HR processes: development conversations, salary reviews, training plans, and talent reviews
  • Coach managers through critical HR moments and sensitive individual situations
  • Propose tools, templates, and HR calendars to optimize processes
  • Participate in cross-functional pole initiatives including continuous improvement and new HR system rollouts
