Role & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary site ambassador for incoming development projects, maintaining visibility on all requests and promoting the site’s technological and strategic capabilities to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Evaluate, arbitrate and validate feasibility of new product and process projects for the site, prioritising work according to available resources and production constraints.
  • Plan, launch and monitor projects from development through industrialisation, including creation and follow‑up of local production orders (OF) and validation of industrialisation milestones against cost, quality and timing objectives.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams (development, production, quality, supply chain, process engineering) during start‑up and ramp‑up phases; provide technical support and drive problem solving to ensure transferability to industrial production.
  • Manage technical trials and laboratory/production tests (substrates, dyes, processes, calibrations) and ensure formalisation and recording of results within the site’s project‑tracking tool and ERP systems.
  • Ensure transfer of technical data to process engineering and validate manufacturing recipes and process documentation in M3 (ERP).
  • Lead and animate a small development & industrialisation team, conduct individual and collective follow‑ups, deliver performance reviews and support skills development and training.
  • Implement and maintain project tracking and reporting tools accessible to the site and the wider development chain; assure accurate recording of project status and communicated decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with QHSE rules on site, identify and escalate operational risks or incidents, and integrate environmental constraints into operational decision making.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in textile engineering, chemistry, materials science or equivalent.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in product industrialisation, process development or technical development in textiles or speciality chemistry, with demonstrated project management success.
  • Proven experience managing cross‑functional projects and leading a small technical team.
  • Strong knowledge of textile materials and transformation processes, including preparation, printing and finishing (ennoblissement).
  • Familiarity with production tracking tools and ERP systems; experience with M3 is required or strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of quality control procedures, industrialisation milestones and production ramp‑up constraints.
  • Fluent French; professional written and verbal communication skills with ability to liaise with internal development and commercial teams.

Experience
