Saint Honoré Bangkok seeks Senior Retail Merchandiser in Thailand. Manage sales, inventory, buying allocation and supply chain across luxury retail network.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and monitor monthly sales activities, reporting on performance trends and conducting follow-up analysis across all product categories
  • Build and maintain métier expertise to assess business potential accurately, driving sales growth initiatives and supporting strategic business planning
  • Analyze sales evolution by category, identifying trends in product performance and providing actionable insights to métier stakeholders
  • Monitor sell-through velocity for seasonal items and implement corrective actions to optimize inventory rotation
  • Identify trends by product category and recommend promotional or merchandising strategies for slow-moving items to stimulate demand
  • Collaborate with product trainers and visual merchandising specialists to conduct staff training and execute in-store sales animation programs
  • Consolidate and analyze inventory levels across locations, providing regular reporting and trend analysis on stock movements
  • Optimize stock distribution by orchestrating inter-store transfers to maximize sales potential and minimize excess inventory
  • Monitor stock replenishment needs and manage permanent stock replacement cycles, reorder administration, and follow-up processes
  • Manage inventory aging through systematic destocking and stock cleansing aligned with Group depletion policies
  • Curate and balance the product assortment across stores, enhancing new product visibility and creating cohesive store identities
  • Supervise the product mix composition between permanent stock and carryover items to ensure optimal freshness and relevance
  • Develop and maintain equilibrium between product offering, market demand, and inventory management objectives
  • Prepare open-to-buy budgets and merchandise selections; allocate product quotas across stores according to performance and potential
  • Provide buying recommendations to store managers prior to preview and podium events
  • Attend podium events in Paris, assist store managers during selection processes, and monitor execution of buying decisions
  • Synthesize buying outcomes and conduct post-podium analysis to identify seasonal highlights and performance insights
  • Coordinate new product launch plans in conjunction with regional commercial, visual merchandising, and communications teams
  • Validate and monitor reorders placed by stores to ensure accuracy and alignment with business objectives
  • Facilitate product supply in coordination with the logistics department to ensure timely delivery across the network
  • Ensure delivery of offerings for store openings and provide advance alert on any potential supply disruptions
  • Secure availability of best-selling items through proactive ordering and inventory management
  • Establish PSI (Permanent Stock Items) selections twice annually with store managers and configure min-max levels for automated replenishment
  • Provide qualitative forecasting feedback and trend analysis for short-term planning and annual planning cycles
  • Coordinate ad hoc regional projects and initiatives in a collaborative team-player capacity
  • Monitor local market trends and foster stronger customer engagement initiatives within the territory
  • Support special events and commercial occasions as requested by regional leadership

Qualifications

  • University graduate
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in retail operations or equivalent commercial roles
  • Fluent English language proficiency
  • French language proficiency preferred

Experience
