Hermès seeks a Senior Manager of Logistics Operations for its Dayton, NJ Distribution Center. Lead e-commerce and retail fulfillment operations. $92k–$113k annually.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage daily logistics operations including small package, LTL, and fulfillment execution across the Distribution and Service Center
  • Oversee staff allocation to e-commerce and retail channels to meet business demands and customer expectations
  • Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations through the initiation, coordination, and enforcement of operational and personnel policies
  • Lead team performance in processing areas while building accountability and establishing tools to maximize output
  • Schedule and assign staff to support Distribution Center requirements and follow up on work results
  • Own optimization of Distribution Center efficiency metrics across inbound, outbound, and inventory accuracy
  • Ensure safety and security protocols for team members, products, and facility operations
  • Partner with Distribution Services, Traffic, and Inventory Control teams to set operational priorities and escalate issues
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies using methodologies to enhance processing workflows and layout optimization
  • Design process area layouts and implement flow strategies that optimize product flow, organization, and space utilization
  • Support cycle count execution and inventory control initiatives in partnership with the Inventory Control team
  • Lead efforts to drive continuous improvements to the delivery process and internal customer satisfaction
  • Conduct onboarding, training, and mentorship of employees to ensure motivation and success
  • Maintain open communication with the Distribution Services and Transportation team regarding operational status

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in logistics operations, distribution center management, or similar supply chain roles
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Demonstrated excellence in meeting both long- and short-term operational deadlines
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and ability to exercise appropriate financial judgment
  • High level of attention to detail in operational execution
  • Proven supervisory and team leadership capabilities with the ability to manage cross-functional staff
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently with initiative and self-motivation to achieve goals with minimal supervision
  • Capability to work collaboratively as a team member and manage independent projects simultaneously
  • Flexible work schedule capability, including weekends and peak operational periods

Experience

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 92393.25 to USD 112925.08 per annum.
