Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve individual monthly and annual sales targets while contributing to the boutique’s collective objectives.
- Manage selling-floor presentation and workstation readiness: stock bags, boxes, ribbons, stationery, and new receipts; implement Visual Merchandising (VM) guidelines and replenishment protocols.
- Operate and oversee POS procedures: process transactions accurately, maintain CRM purchase records, open/close tills and reconcile daily variances.
- Administer returns and exchanges within policy, escalating exceptional requests to management.
- Execute asset-protection (AP) procedures: manage opening/closing protocols, key-log controls, EAS tagging and bag checks; prepare and participate in inventory and cycle counts.
- Support inventory preparation and merchandise flow including ticketing, SKU control and back-of-house organization.
- Deliver high-standard client service consistent with Hermès’ service principles, including greeting, client assistance, wrapping and after-sales support.
- Maintain workstation cleanliness and organise administrative selling tasks; perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of selling and/or supervisory experience in retail; luxury retail experience strongly preferred (requisition indicates minimum 3 years).
- Proven relationship-building and clienteling abilities with impeccable verbal communication.
- Calm, even-tempered approach with the capacity to multi-task in a high‑pace environment.
- Self-starter able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a boutique team.
- Strong organizational skills and open availability to meet business needs.
- Ability to lift 0–25 lbs. without assistance.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of retail selling experience with prior supervisory responsibility; three years in luxury retail is preferred per requisition notes.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary study in retail, business or a related field is desirable but not required.

Compensation
