Hermès Selling Supervisor role in New York. Achieve sales targets, manage inventory, and deliver luxury retail excellence. Full-time, $28–$31/hour.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and annual individual sales targets while collaborating with the sales team to meet boutique-wide objectives
- Organize and maintain workstations and selling floor to support sales efforts, ensuring all items including bags, boxes, note cards, ribbon, and stationery are stocked and properly displayed according to visual merchandising guidelines
- Support merchandise flow including physical EAS tagging, ticketing, replenishment of new receipts, and inventory preparation
- Process and ensure accuracy of all transactions, including receipts, CRM files, SKUs, and payment verification; maintain POS records and provide after-sales service support
- Open and close daily till, ensuring assets are properly monitored, reported, and reconciled
- Approve returns and exchanges; escalate exceptional requests to management for approval
- Communicate POS discrepancies and variances to management by end of business day
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and sales areas
- Execute opening and closing procedures including store access, alarm protocols, employee sign-in sheets, and bag checks in coordination with Asset Protection
- Maintain key log controls daily in partnership with Asset Protection
- Practice appropriate Asset Protection techniques and comply with merchandise security guidelines including physical EAS tagging and proper ticketing protocols
- Prepare for physical inventory and participate in monthly cycle counts as directed by management
- Deliver consistent, high-level customer service in accordance with Hermès standards: prompt and friendly greeting, offer assistance, and provide professional wrapping and packaging at point of sale
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a selling and/or supervisory capacity
- Experience in a luxury retail environment preferred
- Strong relationship development and impeccable communication skills
- Even-tempered disposition with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with team members
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Flexible availability to accommodate business needs
- Ability to lift between 0–25 lbs. without assistance

Experience
2+ years of experience in a selling and/or supervisory capacity, with preference for demonstrated expertise in a luxury retail environment. The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record of achieving or exceeding individual sales targets while supporting team objectives in a fast-paced, high-volume boutique setting.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 28.16 to USD 31.11 per hour.
