Role & Responsibilities

  • Achieve individual monthly and annual sales objectives while contributing to the boutique’s collective targets.
  • Deliver exceptional client service consistent with Hermès standards: greet clients, answer inquiries, assist with sales and provide premium packaging and after-sales support.
  • Operate and manage all point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including CRM recordkeeping, receipts, SKU management, payment processing, returns/exchanges and daily till opening/closing.
  • Oversee merchandise flow and presentation: stock workstations and selling floor, replenish new receipts, maintain VM guidelines, perform physical EAS tagging and ticketing.
  • Execute asset-protection (AP) procedures: manage opening/closing protocols, key control in partnership with AP, bag checks, alarm procedures and preparation for inventory and cycle counts.
  • Support inventory preparation and participate in monthly cycle counts or as directed by management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation and promptly communicate POS variances or discrepancies to management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of retail selling or supervisory experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop client relationships and drive sales through consultative service and clienteling.
  • Impeccable verbal communication and interpersonal skills; even-tempered and able to multitask in a high‑velocity environment.
  • Self-starter who works independently while collaborating effectively with the sales and selling-support teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and open availability to meet the needs of the boutique.
  • Ability to lift 0–25 lbs. without assistance.

Experience

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 25.50 to USD 28.19 per hour.
