Role & Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned monthly and annual individual sales targets while contributing to the boutique’s collective objectives.
  • Maintain selling-floor and workstation standards: stock retail packaging and accessories, replenish receipts and new arrivals, straighten merchandise and follow visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Process all POS transactions accurately — handle receipts, CRM entries, SKU validation, payments, client verification and after-sales administrative tasks.
  • Execute opening and closing till procedures and daily cash reconciliation; report POS discrepancies to management promptly.
  • Manage returns and exchanges according to policy; escalate exceptional requests to management for approval.
  • Apply and enforce asset protection protocols: store access, alarm procedures, key-log control, employee sign-ins and bag checks in partnership with AP.
  • Prepare for and participate in inventory activities and monthly cycle counts; ensure proper EAS tagging and ticketing across floor and back of house.
  • Deliver Hermes-standard client service: warm greetings, attentive assistance, and care with wrapping/packaging at POS.
  • Support merchandise flow and inventory preparation as needed and perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in selling and/or supervisory roles in retail; prior luxury retail experience preferred.
  • Proven relationship-development skills with impeccable verbal communication and clienteling ability.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask calmly in a fast-paced environment and to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational proficiency and attention to merchandising and POS accuracy.
  • Open availability to meet the scheduling needs of the boutique.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. without assistance.

Experience

Minimum three years of selling and/or supervisory experience in retail; experience within a luxury environment is strongly preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational retail training or some college coursework preferred.
