Hermès — Selling Supervisor in Austin, TX. Full-time retail role focused on POS, asset protection, merchandising and high-touch client service.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Achieve individual monthly and annual sales targets while contributing to the boutique’s collective objectives.
  • Maintain selling-floor standards and visual merchandising: replenish receipts, straighten displays, stock packaging materials and follow VM guidelines.
  • Manage POS activity and administrative after‑sales support: process transactions, update CRM records, verify client information and reconcile till at open/close.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures, ensure accurate till counts and report POS variances to management.
  • Support merchandise flow and asset control: ticketing, physical EAS tagging, key‑log protocols, bag checks and adherence to asset protection guidelines.
  • Prepare for and participate in inventory activities and monthly cycle counts.
  • Deliver the Hermès standard of client service — prompt, courteous greetings, personalised assistance and premium packaging/wrapping at point of sale.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a selling and/or supervisory capacity.
  • Prior experience in a luxury retail environment preferred.
  • Proven relationship-building ability and exceptional verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational aptitude with consistent multi-tasking capability.
  • Open availability to meet business needs; ability to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance.

Experience

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 25.50 to USD 26.50 per hour.
