Role & Responsibilities

  • Accurately process point‑of‑sale transactions including sales, sends, repairs and monetary payments; assist management with opening and closing procedures.
  • Deliver Hermès standard of client service at the register: prompt, courteous greetings, answering client questions and assisting with wrapping and packaging.
  • Provide administrative support for after‑sales services: logging repairs, contacting clients, and maintaining active service records.
  • Maintain CRM records with detailed purchase history and meaningful client notes to support sales analysis and clienteling.
  • Support sales team and stockroom operations: merchandising, replenishment, ticketing, EAS tagging, retrieving stock and preparing inventory.
  • Organize and maintain the selling floor and POS station: ensure product packaging, ribbons, boxes, and notecards are consistently stocked and display standards are met.
  • Answer phones in a timely, professional manner and perform other clerical duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year retail experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
  • Experience with POS systems and cash handling strongly preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication and customer service skills; ability to manage difficult situations with composure.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills; ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance.
