Hermès Topanga seeks a Selling and Service Assistant in Canoga Park, CA. Full-time retail role processing transactions, supporting sales team, and maintaining boutique operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Accurately record all point-of-sale transactions at the register, processing sales, sends, repairs, and assisting with opening and closing procedures
  • Provide consistently high levels of service to clients in accordance with Hermès standards, including prompt greetings, offer assistance, answering questions, and wrapping and packaging at point of sale
  • Support the sales team with the selling process by hanging merchandise, returning items to the floor, retrieving stock, and preparing the stockroom
  • Organize and prioritize the workstation and selling floor to support sales efforts, ensuring all items are stocked, maintaining merchandising standards, and straightening displays
  • Provide stockroom operations support including merchandise replenishment, physical EAS tagging, ticketing, and assistance with physical inventory preparation
  • Support the After Sales area as needed by logging repairs, contacting clients, and maintaining active repair records
  • Record accurate and detailed CRM data providing meaningful detail of purchase history and sales analysis
  • Answer phones in a timely manner while exhibiting friendly and appropriate customer service

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of retail experience, preferably in a luxury environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with POS systems and cash handling strongly preferred
  • Customer service oriented
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with grace, composure, and professionalism
  • Physical ability to lift 0–25 lbs without assistance

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 24.76 to USD 27 per hour.
