Role & Responsibilities

  • Accurately record and process point-of-sale transactions, including sales, returns and repairs; assist with opening and closing procedures alongside management.
  • Ensure exemplary client service at point of sale: prompt greeting, product presentation, gift wrapping and packaging consistent with brand standards.
  • Support sales team with merchandising and stock operations: hanging merchandise, replenishing the selling floor, retrieving inventory and preparing stockroom items.
  • Maintain and prioritise the workstation and selling floor supplies (bags, boxes, notecards, ribbon, POS materials) to support sales activity.
  • Assist in stockroom workflows: replenishment, physical tagging (EAS), ticketing and preparation for physical inventory.
  • Administer after-sales activity as required: logging repairs, contacting clients and maintaining active service records.
  • Create accurate, detailed CRM entries that reflect purchase history and client interactions.
  • Answer phones promptly and deliver professional, client-focused communication.
  • Perform other clerical and operational duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year retail experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
  • Proven cash-handling and POS operation experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication and client-service orientation.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritise and maintain attention to detail.
  • Proficient with basic computer tools (Microsoft Office) and comfortable recording accurate CRM notes.
  • Ability to manage difficult situations with composure, empathy and discretion.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance.

Experience

Minimum one year of retail experience is required; prior experience in a luxury boutique environment and familiarity with point-of-sale systems, inventory flow and after-sales processes is strongly preferred.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary coursework or certification in retail, customer service or visual merchandising is a plus.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 24.57 to USD 27.14 per hour.
