Hermès Beverly Hills seeks a Selling and Service Assistant to support luxury retail operations. $26.00–$27.88/hr, full-time.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Accurately process point-of-sale transactions at the register, including sales, sends, repairs, and opening and closing procedures alongside management
  • Consistently deliver high-level service aligned with Hermès standards: greeting clients promptly and courteously, offering assistance, answering product questions, and professionally wrapping and packaging purchases
  • Support the sales team through merchandising activities: hanging stock, returning merchandise to the sales floor, retrieving inventory, and managing stockroom preparation
  • Organize and maintain workstations and the selling floor to optimize sales efforts: ensure all items (bags, boxes, notecards, ribbon, POS station, etc.) remain stocked, maintain merchandising standards, and execute daily straightening and filing
  • Manage stockroom operations including merchandise replenishment, EAS tagging, ticketing, and preparation for physical inventory counts
  • Provide administrative support to the After Sales department: logging repairs, contacting clients, and maintaining active service records
  • Record accurate and detailed CRM entries that capture meaningful customer purchase history and sales analysis
  • Answer telephones in a prompt, friendly manner and provide courteous customer service
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

  • One year of retail experience, preferably in a luxury environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Point-of-sale (POS) and cash handling experience strongly preferred
  • Customer service orientation and responsiveness
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Composure and grace in handling challenging situations
  • Physical capability to lift between 0–25 lbs without assistance
