Hermès Sellier — Vémars: Security Service Manager (part-time) responsible for on-site protection, team leadership and contractor oversight.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the operational relay for the Group Security and Safety Directorate for the assigned perimeter, ensuring protection of people and company assets in compliance with local regulations and Hermès’ ethical standards.
  • Design, organise and continuously improve the on-site security service, including procedures, equipment needs and digital tools to ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Manage and develop internal security teams and/or supervise external private security contractors throughout the contract lifecycle (procurement, performance evaluation, quality reviews).
  • Ensure HSE compliance across managed teams, prepare and represent the service during audits and security commissions, and drive corrective action plans.
  • Conduct risk identification, assessment and mapping for the perimeter; liaise with the PARROS and Support to Operations France to escalate threats and request intelligence or alert communications.
  • Plan and run contingency and continuity measures (evacuation exercises, intrusion tests), maintain safety registers and evacuation plans in coordination with maintenance and HR.
  • Supervise incident and crisis management, personally lead response in complex cases, and ensure timely, accurate reporting to DSG and internal stakeholders.
  • Produce quantitative and qualitative reporting, budget forecasts and execution documents; assess staffing needs and contribute to budgetary control.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (Bac +5) in security management, risk management or equivalent; equivalent qualifications considered.
  • Valid professional security certification: SSIAP 3, TFP APS, or certification as Director of a private security company.
  • Minimum 5–6 years’ professional experience in operational management within public or private security contexts, including team and contractor management.
  • Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and APSAD standards; solid understanding of private security and labour law issues.
  • Proven proficiency with digital environments and management IT tools; ability to maintain regulatory and operational documentation.

Experience

Minimum five to six years of progressive experience in operational security management within public or private sectors, including direct responsibility for teams and oversight of private security providers, incident/crisis response and budgetary stewardship.

Education

Bac +5 (Master’s) in security, risk management, engineering or equivalent; professional security certifications (SSIAP 3, TFP APS or equivalent) required.
