Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct opening and closing rounds of buildings in strict compliance with site procedures; coordinate with the Paris PCS for videoprotection activation and deactivation.
- Manage reception and access control: welcome and direct visitors, issue access badges, perform personnel and visitor screening, and maintain key and access systems.
- Operate and monitor the security control room (PC Sécurité): manage GTC and vidéosurveillance, acknowledge alarms, log incidents in the main courante and notify responsible parties or law enforcement when necessary.
- Perform regular technical and fire-safety rounds: verify fire-protection equipment (extinguishers, alarms, doors, smoke control, emergency lighting, fixed suppression systems) and ensure evacuation routes are clear.
- Respond to and investigate alarms, execute alarm lifts and apply emergency procedures; liaise with emergency services and guide responders on arrival.
- Supervise external security contractors and site service providers: verify identity documents, manage handovers, control worksite procedures and issue hot-work permits (permits de feu) where required.
- Maintain accurate reporting and handover notes for successive shifts; monitor regulatory updates in safety and security and recommend corrective actions to management.
