Role & Responsibilities

• Execute and oversee site opening and closing procedures in strict compliance with established safety protocols and coordinate with the security command center for surveillance activation and deactivation
• Welcome, guide, and facilitate visitor access; issue security credentials; manage telephone support for the security function; monitor vehicle movements within parking areas; and maintain control over keys and access mechanisms
• Monitor access points and site surroundings through video surveillance and anomaly alerts; conduct closing-shift facility patrols; and verify proper operation of all access control systems
• Perform technical fire prevention rounds to identify and mitigate fire risks in both occupied and unoccupied spaces; verify accessibility and functionality of all fire safety equipment including fire extinguishers, alarm and detection devices, fire doors, smoke evacuation systems, emergency lighting, automatic water and gas suppression systems, and the safety system interface
• Ensure unobstructed evacuation pathways are maintained free of any obstruction or storage; verify sound operation of the Safety System Interface; respond to and clear false alarms; implement emergency evacuation procedures; and coordinate with emergency response services
• Oversee external security personnel shift changes; audit attendance records for contracted service providers; manage access and on-site protocols for all contractors performing work, including identity verification, credential issuance, and supervision day and night; prepare hot-work permits for all high-risk operations; and verify existence of prevention plans for each external intervention
• Document all interventions and incidents in the security log; alert management to any event that could compromise site safety and propose corrective actions; ensure handover of directives and critical events to incoming shift personnel; and maintain current awareness of regulatory updates in security and fire prevention

Qualifications

• SSIAP 1 certification (French fire safety qualification) or equivalent professional security accreditation
• Current professional security card (Carte Professionnelle)
• Minimum 6 years of significant experience in security and fire prevention, ideally within a corporate or industrial environment

Minimum 6 years of substantial experience in security and fire prevention, preferably within a corporate setting.

Education

SSIAP 1 certification or equivalent professional security qualification required; current professional security card (Carte Professionnelle) mandatory.
