Hermès — Paris: Security and Safety Analyst (Apprenticeship). Apprenticeship starting Sept 2026 to support geopolitical monitoring, risk analysis and group security.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct thematic geopolitical and security monitoring (open-source intelligence) and maintain ongoing situation awareness for regions of interest.
- Collect, validate and cross-check information; identify weak signals and emerging trends; feed risk cartographies.
- Produce concise analytical notes, briefings, presentations and infographics that assess potential impacts and recommend preventive or corrective actions.
- Define and configure monitoring devices and search engines; automate information collection where relevant.
- Draft doctrine, procedures, protocols and reflex sheets; prepare training and awareness materials for internal and external security networks.
- Support subsidiaries, operational sites and business lines after audits or during site deliveries by delivering actionable plans and guidance.
- Exploit and analyse incident reports (internal reporting in French and English), extract lessons learned and contribute to best-practice recommendations.
- Participate in on-site security evaluations and contribute to the simplification and digitalisation of audit tools and processes.
- Organise meetings and workshops to disseminate monitoring results and ensure follow-up with end users and stakeholders.
- Undertake travel in France and internationally as required by operational needs.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in Master 2 (or equivalent) in International Relations, Political Science (IEP) or related field; specialization in International Security preferred.
- Very good command of English; professional written and spoken French.
- Strong analytical rigor, synthetic thinking and capacity to produce high-quality written deliverables.
- Autonomous, resourceful and able to work collaboratively across functions and geographies.
- High level of discretion and ethical conduct given the sensitivity of information.
- Good organisational skills and experience (or demonstrable interest) in security monitoring/OSINT is an advantage.
- Availability to start September 1, 2026 and to commit to a 12‑month apprenticeship contract; based in Paris (8th arrondissement) with travel.

Entry-level: candidates should be current Master 2 students; prior experience in intelligence, security monitoring, or related internships is appreciated but not mandatory. Beginners accepted.
Education
Master 2 (M2) or equivalent in International Relations, Political Science/IEP or related discipline; specialization in International Security valued.
