This temporary seasonal role at the newly opened Hermès Scottsdale boutique provides clerical and operational support across front-of-house and back-of-house functions during the peak holiday period. Reporting to store management, the associate collaborates with the sales team to enhance the client experience within a luxury retail environment, executing duties including merchandise preparation, workstation organization, after-sales support, and client service assistance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver consistently elevated service aligned with Hermès standards, including prompt greetings, assistance inquiries, and point-of-sale wrapping and packaging
- Support the sales team with merchandise handling, including hanging stock, restocking displays, retrieving items from the stockroom, and preparing inventory
- Organize and maintain workstations and selling floor displays to maximize sales efficiency, ensuring supplies such as bags, boxes, ribbon, and stationery are continuously stocked and merchandise standards are upheld
- Assist concierge, doorperson, greeter, and client service functions as needed
- Support after-sales operations including logging repair requests, contacting clients, and maintaining active client records
- Answer telephones promptly and provide courteous, professional customer service
- Execute additional duties as assigned by store management
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service orientation and ability to excel in a fast-paced luxury environment
- Detail-oriented approach to visual merchandising and inventory management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- Ability to manage challenging situations with grace, composure, and compassion
- Physical capability to lift objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
- Commitment to regular in-person attendance at the designated boutique location
