Hermès San Francisco seeks Seasonal Sales Support Associate for temporary November–December role supporting boutique operations and client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional client service consistent with Hermès standards, including prompt greetings, personalized assistance, and professional wrapping and packaging at point of sale
- Support the sales team with merchandise handling, stock retrieval, and stockroom organization to facilitate efficient selling processes
- Organize and maintain workstations and selling floor displays, ensuring all point-of-sale materials, packaging, and merchandise are properly stocked and merchandised
- Assist Client Service, Concierge, Doorperson, and Greeter functions throughout the boutique
- Support After-Sales operations, including logging repairs, contacting clients regarding service requests, and maintaining active records
- Answer incoming telephone calls in a timely, courteous manner, directing inquiries appropriately
- Execute additional duties as assigned by store management
Qualifications
- Minimum one year of prior retail or customer service experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation and emotional intelligence
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
- Ability to handle challenging client interactions with grace, compassion, and professional composure
- Physical capability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs without assistance
- Availability for regular in-person work at the San Francisco boutique location

Minimum one year of retail, hospitality, or customer-facing service experience preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail or customer service training is a plus.
