The Seasonal Sales Support Associate supports front- and back-of-house operations at Hermès’ Chicago boutique, assisting with client hospitality, beverage service, merchandise handling, and sales-floor organization. This temporary seasonal position begins in November and runs through December 31; pay is $22–$23 per hour, with the actual rate determined by role, location, and individual experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Greet clients, determine their needs, and escort them to the appropriate floor or sales associate.
- Support beverage service in line with brand standards and coordinate with management to keep beverage supplies stocked.
- Provide hospitable service, such as bringing coloring books to children.
- Support the sales team throughout the selling process by hanging merchandise, returning items to the sales floor, retrieving stock, and physically preparing the stockroom.
- Organize and prioritize the workstation and sales floor; keep bags, boxes, note cards, ribbons, stationery, and similar supplies stocked; and maintain merchandise presentation standards by straightening and replenishing items.
- Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
