The Hermès Princeton Boutique seeks a Seasonal Sales Support Associate for a temporary position running from November through December 31st. Based within the Northern Region, this role will provide clerical and operational support for both front and back-of-house functions, working collaboratively with the sales team and store management to deliver extraordinary client experiences in a luxury setting. The successful candidate will ensure merchandise organization, assist with client service initiatives, and support after-sales operations while maintaining the standards of excellence Hermès is renowned for.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide consistent, high-caliber client service aligned with Hermès standards, including prompt and courteous greetings, assistance with inquiries, and support with wrapping and packaging at point of sale
- Support the sales team with merchandise handling, including hanging stock, returning merchandise to the floor, retrieving inventory from the stockroom, and maintaining stockroom organization
- Organize and maintain workstations and selling floor to enhance the sales experience, ensuring all wrapping supplies, boxes, ribbons, stationery and related items are consistently stocked and properly displayed
- Assist with Client Service, Concierge, Doorperson, and Greeter/Host responsibilities as assigned
- Support after-sales operations, including logging repair requests, contacting clients regarding service status, and maintaining active repair records
- Answer incoming calls in a timely, friendly and professional manner
- Perform all additional duties as assigned by store management
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Customer service orientation with a proven commitment to client satisfaction
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time-management capabilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- Ability to manage challenging situations with grace, composure and compassion
- Physical capability to lift between 0–25 lbs. unassisted
- Availability for regular in-person work at the designated store location
Skills
Experience
Minimum one year of retail, hospitality or customer service experience preferred
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail or luxury hospitality training a plus
