The Hermès Greenwich boutique seeks a temporary Seasonal Sales Support Associate to provide clerical and operational support for front and back-of-house functions during the November through December holiday season. Reporting to store management, this role will collaborate with the sales team to enhance the client experience in a luxury retail environment through merchandise preparation, workstation organization, client service coordination, and administrative support.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional client service consistent with Hermès standards, including prompt greetings, courteous assistance, and professional wrapping and packaging at point of sale
- Support the sales team with merchandise handling, including hanging items, restocking the sales floor, retrieving inventory, and organizing the stockroom
- Maintain an organized and aesthetically refined selling floor and workstations, ensuring all selling supplies—bags, boxes, ribbons, stationery, and related items—remain fully stocked
- Assist with client services, concierge, greeter, and doorperson activities as assigned
- Support after-sales operations, including logging repair requests, contacting clients regarding service status, and maintaining active repair records
- Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously, providing appropriate customer service
- Execute additional duties as directed by store management
