Hermès Sales Specialist opening in Honolulu, Hawaii. Luxury retail role combining client service, sales achievement and asset protection in our iconic Ala Moana boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and annual individual sales targets whilst contributing to the boutique's collective sales goals
- Organize and maintain the selling floor to optimize the client experience, ensuring proper stock levels of merchandise, bags, boxes, ribbons, stationery and related items
- Maintain selling floor merchandising standards including straightening displays, replenishing new receipts in accordance with visual merchandising guidelines, applying electronic article surveillance (EAS) tags, and ticketing merchandise
- Process all transactions accurately through the point-of-sale (POS) system, including receipts, customer relationship management (CRM) files, payment methods and client verification
- Communicate POS discrepancies to management during opening and closing procedures and address variances by end of business day
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times
- Comply with all asset protection procedures including employee sign-in protocols, merchandise security, EAS tagging and physical inventory preparation
- Participate in monthly cycle counts and physical inventory events as directed by management
- Deliver consistent, high-level service to clients according to Hermès service standards: prompt and courteous greeting, proactive assistance, and professional wrapping and packaging support at point-of-sale
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience, with luxury retail environment experience preferred
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal communication abilities
- Demonstrated capacity for multitasking in fast-paced environments
- Self-directed work ethic balanced with collaborative team orientation
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Flexibility with availability to accommodate business operational needs
- Ability to lift between 0–25 pounds without assistance
- Regular, in-person work at the designated boutique location is an essential function of this role
Skills
Experience
2+ years of professional sales experience, with exposure to a luxury retail environment preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 26 to USD 28 per hour.
