Hermès Sales Associate temporary position in Florence. Six to seven months, full-time retail role with luxury client advisory focus.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Advise and support customers across all product categories to ensure a memorable omnichannel experience that exceeds expectations
  • Deliver compelling brand storytelling, articulating product craftsmanship and heritage to build client relationships and drive sales
  • Provide comprehensive product information and after-sales care guidance to foster client loyalty and satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain an active client portfolio through systematic discovery, bespoke engagement, and personalized service
  • Collect and update client data accurately and ethically in compliance with privacy regulations and company procedures
  • Participate actively in customer events and in-boutique animations as required
  • Build and maintain current, comprehensive product knowledge including new arrivals, pricing, and inventory availability

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferably (fashion or linguistics focus advantageous)
  • Fluency in Italian and English; a third language is highly valued
  • Demonstrated experience in direct retail sales, preferably in a luxury goods environment
  • Proficiency with Excel and standard IT business tools
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong customer service orientation
  • Team player with ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously
  • Availability and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy retail environment
