John Lobb is hiring a Sales Associate in Chicago. Deliver luxury client service, manage stock and CRM in the new flagship boutique.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver exemplary, personalised service to international and local clients, developing long-term relationships and ensuring customer retention.
  • Maximise sales through consultative selling and expert product knowledge across John Lobb collections and accessories.
  • Maintain and refresh in-store displays to preserve a refined visual presentation consistent with brand standards.
  • Manage customer correspondence, enquiries and after‑sales services, including repairs and client care follow-up.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of store stock and inventory held in other locations; participate in receiving, ordering and stock maintenance processes.
  • Ensure correct storage and handling of merchandise and report stock issues to the Store Manager.
  • Support CRM initiatives by compiling, maintaining and utilising an accurate customer database.
  • Adhere to company security guidelines and collaborate with the wider John Lobb team to fulfil store requirements and ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in high‑end or luxury international retail; shoes or men’s clothing experience is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; fluency in an additional language is a strong plus.
  • Some experience with retail administration; basic understanding of CRM systems, databases and e‑commerce platforms is desirable.
  • Sophisticated approach to selling and client relations; proven ability to deliver discreet, attentive service.
  • Team‑oriented, adaptable, proactive and performance focused with strong problem‑solving abilities.

Experience

Minimum three years' experience in luxury/high‑end retail, ideally within footwear or men’s apparel and servicing an international clientele.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary studies in retail, fashion, business or a related discipline preferred but not required.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 25 to USD 27 per hour.
