Hermès is seeking a Sales Associate for Pacific Fair in Broadbeach Waters. Full-time fixed-term contract role combining luxury retail expertise with exceptional client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional client experience aligned with Sales & Service Ambassador guidelines and Hermès standards
- Practice the Orange Box Ceremony and Hand Rituals with every client interaction
- Develop and maintain client relationships through professional engagement and ongoing communication
- Address complex client concerns, including exchanges, returns, and after-sales services according to store procedures
- Provide expert after-sales support with accurate product assessments and precise documentation
- Capture and maintain accurate client and transaction information through POS and CRM systems
- Communicate customer feedback and insights to store management
- Utilize professional and elegant communication with clients and team members
- Serve as proactive ambassador for assigned métier (product category)
- Maintain meticulous visual merchandising and retail floor appearance
- Ensure back-of-house stock areas are organized, clean, and inventory is easily accessible
- Monitor and communicate métier performance metrics to management
- Share expertise on product launches and new collections, particularly with new team members
- Demonstrate proficiency in product care and after-sales services
- Execute and encourage mastery of métier-specific Hand Rituals across the team
- Contribute positively to team dynamics and support colleagues' brand ambassadorship
- Perform daily housekeeping duties and maintain store cleanliness
- Process stock deliveries through unpacking, validation, and distribution
- Apply visual merchandising guidelines throughout the store
- Participate actively in cycle counts and stock takes
- Adhere to all Hermès Australia and Hermès International policies
- Achieve individual sales targets and KPIs including units per transaction, value per transaction, client experience, ambassadorship, teamwork, and grooming standards
- Maintain personal presentation and grooming standards aligned with Hermès guidelines
- Support team operations through proactive and efficient contribution
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of customer service and/or sales experience
- Strong background in luxury retail environment (advantageous)
- Availability to work within a 7-day roster including weekends
- Team player mentality with ability to embody Hermès Maison values
- Excellent relationship development skills with impeccable interpersonal and communication abilities
- High standard of personal presentation and grooming
- Passion for luxury craftsmanship and comprehensive product knowledge of Hermès métiers
- Positive, proactive, and efficient approach to client-focused service
- Strong time management with ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize effectively
- Proven ability to achieve personal targets and adapt to fast-paced retail environments
- Capability to work independently while balancing team collaboration

Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in customer service and/or sales, with experience in a luxury environment being advantageous. Candidate should have proven track record in client-facing roles, managing customer inquiries, achieving sales targets, and maintaining high standards of service delivery in a retail setting.
