Hermès is hiring a Sales Associate for the Bologna Boutique. Deliver luxury client experiences and build lasting relationships in this temporary full-time role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Advise and support customers across all product categories to satisfy client needs and ensure an exceptional omnichannel retail experience
- Serve as a brand storyteller, suggesting products with discernment and delivering consistent, high-quality service to develop client relationships and sales
- Provide comprehensive customer support, including pre-sale consultation and post-sale product care guidance
- Develop and maintain a customer portfolio through strategic client discovery and bespoke engagement to foster loyalty and establish enduring relationships
- Collect and update client data in accordance with privacy regulations and company procedures
- Participate actively in customer events and brand animations as required
- Maintain robust product knowledge, remaining current with new collections, pricing structures, and inventory availability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus on fashion or linguistics (not mandatory)
- Fluency in Italian and English; proficiency in a third language is advantageous
- Professional experience in direct client sales, preferably within a luxury goods boutique setting
- Proficiency with Excel and core IT tools
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with strong customer service orientation
- Team player mentality with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated passion for luxury retail, aesthetic refinement, and human-centric values
Skills
Experience
Professional background in direct sales to clients, preferably within a luxury goods boutique. Experience with omnichannel retail environments and clienteling practices is valued.
Education
Bachelor's degree preferably, but not mandatory, ideally with a focus on fashion or linguistics.
