Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the client’s first impression of Hermès — welcome visitors with warmth, courtesy and elegant professionalism.
- Deliver tailored, high-quality customer service adapted to each client’s culture and personality.
- Develop sales across all Hermès product universes while maintaining product integrity and service excellence.
- Proactively contact existing and prospective clients to nurture relationships and communicate new products and services.
- Manage client enquiries and concerns promptly and discreetly, ensuring high standards of post-sale service and follow-up.
- Contribute to a pleasant, refined in-store atmosphere consistent with the Hermès image.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of customer-facing experience in luxury retail or a comparable high-end service environment.
- Genuine passion for people and delivering exceptional service.
- Team-player mentality with a willingness to go the extra mile to achieve shared goals.
- Fluency in Dutch and English; Mandarin is an asset.
- Demonstrable cultural empathy and ability to adapt to diverse clientele.
- Broad cultural interests (arts, travel, literature, current affairs) and awareness of luxury market trends and social media.
Skills
Experience
At least 5 years of relevant customer-facing experience in luxury retail or another high-end service environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or formal education in retail, hospitality or luxury goods is advantageous.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands.
