Hermès seeks a Sales Assistant to support boutique sales and deliver an exceptional client experience through client reception, product preparation, remote sales support, after-sales follow-up, stock coordination, and boutique operations. The role is full-time on an unlimited contract and requires at least 3 years of experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Welcome clients, identify their initial needs, and direct them appropriately.
- Support Sales Associates during in-person and remote client appointments, ensuring a prompt and excellent client experience.
- Assist sales staff with operational sales activities so they can focus on client service and relationship development.
- Retrieve, collect, organize, and present products during client appointments, with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Prepare product selections for presentations, appointments, and special client interactions.
- Support remote sales preparation, including sending photographs, setting aside products, packaging, and following the necessary processes in accordance with Maison standards.
- Help monitor client conversations and requests via WhatsApp and other remote channels, ensuring prompt, continuous follow-up by the Sales Associate.
- Support client relationships and after-sales activities, ensuring appropriate follow-up on requests.
- Help organize and monitor reservations, transfers, orders, and product movements in accordance with internal procedures.
- Assist with product preparation, packaging, and sales completion.
- Collaborate with the stock team to ensure the efficient locating, movement, replenishment, and availability of products.
- Keep the sales floor organized, assist with merchandise replenishment, and follow Visual Merchandising guidelines.
- Support the client experience throughout their time in the boutique, anticipating needs whenever possible.
- Support events, activations, launches, and other client relationship initiatives.
- Attend briefings and training, continually developing knowledge of products, Métiers, the Maison’s history, and its values.
- Assist with inventories, controls, and other operational activities related to boutique operations.
- Work collaboratively with the entire team to foster an organized, efficient environment focused on excellence.
Qualifications
- Dynamic, organized, detail-oriented, and strongly customer-focused.
- Demonstrates proactivity, teamwork, discretion, agility, and adaptability in a luxury retail environment.
- Able to manage multiple demands simultaneously while maintaining organization, composure, and high execution standards during busy periods.
