Hermès Germany in Frankfurt am Main seeks a Sales Assistant (limited contract) to deliver luxury retail service and clienteling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary, personalized customer service that embodies Hermès’ values of generosity and refinement.
- Conduct high-quality sales across all product lines, ensuring product presentation and service standards are maintained.
- Identify customer needs, develop long-term client relationships and execute clienteling activities to grow sales and loyalty.
- Manage customer enquiries and aftersales requests with professionalism and discretion.
- Contribute to a welcoming store environment and collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared commercial objectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years’ experience in luxury retail or another high‑end service environment.
- Fluent German and very good English; additional language skills are an advantage.
- Strong cultural sensitivity, adaptability and high emotional intelligence to engage an international clientele.
- Proven team player with passion for service and a customer-centric mindset.
- Eligible to work in Germany for the duration of a fixed-term contract.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of direct customer-facing experience in luxury retail or another premium service setting, with a demonstrable record of driving qualitative sales and cultivating repeat clientele.
Education
Secondary education required; vocational training in retail/commerce or formal luxury retail training is advantageous.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Frankfurt am Main, Hesse, Germany.
