Hermès — Sales & Service Ambassador, Watches & Jewellery (London/Harrods). Deliver exceptional client service, support sales and after‑sales for luxury timepieces and jewellery.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised service to clients on the shop floor and throughout the after‑sales journey, consistently supporting store sales targets and turnover.
- Proactively acquire and develop product knowledge across watches and jewellery to confidently sell across metiers and advise clients.
- Build and maintain an active client base through accurate CRM capture, clientelling and best‑practice follow‑up.
- Support and mentor new joiners, act as a visible ambassador for the House and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Uphold House standards: visual merchandising (VM), stock handling and organisation, daily procedures and store communications.
- Participate in morning briefs and contribute qualitative product feedback to store management and merchandising teams.
- Take responsibility for cycle counts and stock accuracy within the metier, propose improvements and support inventory processes.
- Undertake designated ambassador duties (e.g., VM, CRM, training, digital) and complete any assigned training programmes.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in client‑facing luxury retail, ideally with exposure to watches and/or jewellery.
- Demonstrable ability to build and manage client relationships and to capture accurate CRM data.
- Strong communication skills — verbal and written — with the ability to present and sell to an international clientele.
- Numerical competence for sales targets, stock control and reporting; experience with cycle counts preferred.
- High personal standards, professionalism, resilience under pressure and a service‑led mindset.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience in luxury retail or premium accessories sales, with a preference for candidates who have worked with watches and/or jewellery and who can demonstrate a personal client portfolio and proven sales performance.
Education
Secondary education completed; vocational training or diploma in retail, hospitality or a related field preferred. In‑house luxury sales training advantageous.
