Hermès seeks a Sales Associate in Milan to advise clients across product categories, provide bespoke omnichannel service, build client relationships and maintain strong product knowledge. This is a permanent, full-time position under the CCNL Commercio, with an indicative starting gross annual salary of €28,000 and eligibility for an annual incentive plan.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist clients across all product categories with personalized, memorable service and storytelling about Hermès’ heritage and product craftsmanship.
- Deliver bespoke, high-integrity customer experiences that drive sales and build lasting client relationships.
- Advise and support customers to meet their needs and provide a memorable omnichannel experience.
- Use storytelling, thoughtful recommendations and surprise to deliver consistent, high-quality service and develop client relationships and sales.
- Provide product information, including after-sales care guidance.
- Develop and maintain a client portfolio through client discovery and bespoke experiences, fostering loyalty and long-term relationships.
- Collect and update client data in accordance with privacy policies and company procedures.
- Participate actively in customer events and activations as needed.
- Build strong product knowledge and stay current on new products, prices and stock availability.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably with a focus on fashion or languages, is desirable but not mandatory.
- Fluency in Italian and English; a third language is an advantage.
- Experience in direct client sales, preferably in a luxury goods boutique.
- Professionalism, enthusiasm, dynamism, adaptability and teamwork.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-service orientation.
- A team-player mindset, the ability to build meaningful relationships and the ability to work autonomously.
- Availability, flexibility and dynamism to work in a fast-paced environment.

Experience
Minimum 1 year of experience; experience in direct client sales, preferably in a luxury goods boutique.
Education

The base compensation for this position is EUR 28,000 per annum.
