Hermès Distribution France seeks a versatile Sales Advisor for its Megève boutique on a fixed-term contract from December 1, 2026 to February 22, 2027. The role encompasses multi-departmental sales across leather goods, fashion, beauty, watches, jewelry, and home collections, with responsibility for cultivating client relationships, delivering memorable experiences, and embodying Hermès' artisanal heritage and values. The successful candidate will work autonomously to build and maintain a clientele portfolio while contributing to store operations and visual merchandising excellence.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive sales across all Hermès product departments through proactive client engagement and product expertise
  • Develop and maintain an autonomous client portfolio, ensuring consistent follow-up and relationship management with both domestic and international customers
  • Create memorable and bespoke client experiences in partnership with store leadership, ensuring exceptional service that reflects Hermès' commitment to excellence
  • Represent and transmit Hermès' core values—artisanal craftsmanship, authenticity, and innovation—to clients and team members
  • Identify client opportunities and respond promptly to requests, ensuring clients are never left without resolution or information
  • Participate in inventory management, merchandising updates, stock organization, and overall store presentation

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience in luxury retail, ready-to-wear, jewelry, or watchmaking
  • Demonstrated expertise in luxury product categories such as leather goods, ready-to-wear, jewelry, or horology
  • Strong knowledge of visual merchandising principles and ability to contribute to store aesthetic
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build rapport and foster client loyalty
  • Fluent English proficiency, both written and verbal (mandatory for international clientele in Megève)
  • Digital literacy and comfort with modern communication tools and point-of-sale systems
  • Track record of achieving sales targets while maintaining service excellence
