Hermès — Sales Advisor Internship in Bordeaux (May–Aug). In-store internship for a business-school student to deliver luxury client experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the boutique team in delivering exceptional client experiences across all product departments (leather goods, fashion, beauty, home, watches, jewelry, etc.).
- Actively prospect and identify sales opportunities in store; propose relevant products and personalised services to clients.
- Build and maintain an autonomous client file and ensure timely follow-up to nurture national and international customers.
- Collaborate with the head of external relations when appropriate to create memorable, tailored client experiences.
- Contribute to daily store operations: participate in inventories, implement merchandising changes, organise stock and maintain the presentation of the department.
- Represent and communicate the Maison’s values and the work of Hermès artisans to clients and new colleagues.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a business school or equivalent higher-education program (Bac+3 level).
- Available for the full internship period (May to end of August).
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a warm, generous client approach and the ability to recruit and retain clientele.
- Highly professional and humble demeanour, exemplary in conduct and presentation.
- Comfortable and agile with digital tools and modern means of communication.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
