Hermès Sèvres seeks a full-time Sales Advisor for its Home Department in Paris—drive luxury home décor sales with exceptional client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive sales across the Home Department and broader store product categories through consultative, high-touch client engagement and proactive sales development
- Ensure exceptional client well-being and satisfaction by delivering personalized, surprising experiences aligned with Hermès' brand values and positioning
- Source and resolve client inquiries promptly, providing information and solutions to prevent unmet expectations
- Represent Hermès values to clients and new colleagues, embodying the house philosophy of artisanal mastery and quality
- Build and independently manage a personal client portfolio spanning domestic and international clientele, fostering loyalty and repeat business
- Highlight and communicate the craftsmanship and heritage of Hermès artisans to clients
- Support store operations including inventory management, merchandising changes, stock organization, and departmental presentation standards
- Collaborate across the full store team to achieve collective commercial objectives on an expanded selling floor
Qualifications
- Demonstrated passion for tabletop arts, home furnishings, and luxury home décor
- Proven track record in client-facing roles with recognized excellence in service delivery and sales achievement
- Full fluency in English, written and spoken
- Proficiency with digital tools and modern communication platforms
- Strong aesthetic sensibility and understanding of design excellence
Skills
Experience
Prior retail or luxury goods sales experience demonstrating client passion, service orientation, and consistent achievement of sales targets. Experience in hospitality, home décor, or tabletop sectors preferred.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; formal retail or luxury goods training a plus.
