Hermès Middle East seeks a Retail Store Planner in Abu Dhabi to manage inventory, replenishment and KPI reporting for the store.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own the store replenishment plan and day-to-day replenishment strategy to ensure the right product is in-store at the right time to support sales targets.
  • Analyze sales and inventory at SKU, model and category level; implement and monitor KPIs such as MOS, sell-through and stock ageing to drive decisions.
  • Set and maintain min/max parameters in CEGID / COCKPIT with floor managers and adjust settings in response to sales trends and storage capacity.
  • Proactively identify slow‑moving lines, product shortages and rebalancing needs; recommend actions to the sales team, LDC and merchandising/planning teams.
  • Monitor and optimise in-store storage capacity (front, back and remote stockrooms); organise stockroom flows to support the store commercial strategy.
  • Anticipate and plan product calls and replenishments for peak periods, product launches, trunk shows and phase‑outs, in coordination with Merchandising and LDC.
  • Run weekly alignment meetings with the Floor Manager and share weekly KPI reporting and replenishment priorities with the Store Director and RM/Planning teams.
  • Develop strong cross‑functional relationships with store management, local logistics/operations and subsidiary retail merchandising and planning teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in retail back‑office, inventory planning or supply chain roles; experience in luxury retail preferred.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain fundamentals and forecasting methodologies.
  • Proven analytical capability with strong numerical rigour and comfort manipulating large datasets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated ability to influence sales teams and liaise with corporate stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, methodical and reliable with strong attention to detail.
  • Service‑oriented and proactive mindset with a propensity to propose process improvements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and inventory management tools.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in retail back‑office, replenishment, planning or supply‑chain functions, ideally within a premium or luxury retail environment.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business administration or a related discipline — or equivalent professional experience.
