Hermès seeks a Retail Sales Apprentice in Berlin for a two- to three-year apprenticeship starting 1 September 2027, leading to an IHK qualification. The apprentice develops sales expertise through customer advice, relationship building, product knowledge, visual merchandising and retail operations, alongside vocational-school studies.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide individual customer advice, build long-term client relationships and guide customers through the full experience through to purchase.
- Develop comprehensive product knowledge and gain insight into Hermès craftsmanship.
- Support visual merchandising and product presentation in an exclusive retail environment.
- Gain exposure to merchandise operations, stockroom organization and inventory management.
- Study accounting, retail business administration, and economics and social studies through vocational school.
Qualifications
- Abitur, Fachabitur or an intermediate school-leaving qualification; Abitur is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, willingness to learn and empathy.
- Enthusiasm for fashion, craftsmanship and retail.
- Openness, curiosity and a strong service orientation.
- Enjoyment of working with people and building lasting relationships.
